YEREVAN.- Armenia is faced with political crisis after the February 18 presidential elections, opposition MP Nikol Pashinyan said in parliament.

Unfortunately, issues concerning domestic political situation were not included in the parliament’s agenda, he said addressing colleagues.

“It appears that Speaker, who used to speak about increasing National Assembly’s role, has presented agenda, urging lawmakers to deal with issues having no relation to reality,” Pashinyan noted.

He offered to invite members of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) to discuss the existing crisis.

“It would help CEC not to confirm shameful results,” MP noted.

In his turn, Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan explained that the agenda is formed by standing committees of the National Assembly.
