YEREVAN.- Armenian capital’s municipality consented to notification of Heritage party headquarters on holding a rally in Liberty Square from February 28 to March 5.

The notification on the March 1 rally is being studied, representative of municipality Gagik Baghdasaryan told reporters.

The municipality has already received an application filed by the Pan-Armenian National Movement on holding demonstration on March 1. He noted that Raffi Hovannisian applied to hold daily rallies from 3 to 25 March.

Head of Heritage party Raffi Hovannisian, who got about 37 percent according to the official results, announced himself the winner and is holding mass protest actions in the capital and regions.

The demonstration dedicated to the March 1, 2008 events when 10 people died, was earlier announced by the Armenian National Congress.
