YEREVAN.- Armenian Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov said dismissal is a natural component of the politics.
His comments came in response to a question on recent dismissals of mayors and governors.
“Dismissal is a natural thing. Everything must go by the political evolution. Resignations and replacement of officials is a natural thing in power,” he told reporters on Tuesday.
“After the inauguration of the President, the Government will resign,” he recalled.
Asked whether resignations of mayors and governors is expected in the regions where the incumbent president received majority of votes, deputy speaker, said “In politics, nothing can be ruled out.”
However, Eduard Sharmazanov does not think that anyone should take the power, not stipulated by the law, and declare that a certain official should resign.
Sharmazanov also did not give a clear answer to the question, whether the change in leadership of the parliament may occur after the presidential inauguration.
