YEREVAN. – Armenia’s ex-presidential candidate, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic former FM, Arman Melikyan continues the series of his talks, which he has launched, with the foreign ambassadors that are accredited in Armenia.
An assistant of the Russian ambassador telephoned Melikyan in the morning, and informed that the preliminary arrangement that was made at the beginning of last week, and with respect to holding a meeting between Melikyan and Ambassador Vyacheslav Kovalenko, is canceled because the ambassador considers such meeting impossible, since he cannot find the necessary time for it, the former presidential candidate wrote in his Facebook page.
“Now, let’s see what demeanor the US Ambassador to Armenia will adopt. Will he circumvent [a meeting], too? There is still no response from the French Embassy, either. I don’t know whether the ambassador’s assistants have conveyed my proposal for a meeting, or they have not decided yet. At any rate, there was no answer from the Embassy to the phone calls yesterday [Tuesday],” Melikyan wrote.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, Arman Melikyan on Tuesday met with the Chinese and the UK ambassadors to Armenia.
