Famous TV presenter, director of Syrian television Mahran Youssef Khadrian died on Monday of a heart attack at the age of 77.

Youssef was born in Damascus to Armenian father and Arab mother, representative of local Armenian community said. He was reportedly offered to get other job outside of Syria but he did not accept it claiming he cannot leave Damascus.

He held a bachelor degree in Arab Literature. He first started his career in the media field at Damascus Radio in 1962 and had an experience of 45 years in Radio and TV presenting, SANA reported.
