YEREVAN. – Armenia’s capital will host the 12th Caucasus Travel Show. International travel fair will be held in Armenia Marriott hotel.

At the exhibition opening the keynote speakers are the Deputy Minister of Economy Ara Petrosyan, head of the Armenian USAID office Karen Hilliard, Ambassador of Argentina to Armenia Diego Ernesto Alvarez Rivera, vice president of the Armenian Union of Travel Agents Yeghishe Tanashyan, head of the tourism department of Yerevan City Hall Maria Baragamyan and representative of World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations Felicitas Wressning.

The Caucasian tourism exhibition is aimed at the development of regional tourism, promotion of regional and inbound tourism by organizing study tours for foreign tour operators, creating favorable conditions for joint development, advertising and sales of tour packages, promotion of domestic tourism, to inform the public, potential clients, professionals, government officials and other interested people on trends in the tourism sector, the creation of tourism forum for all interested parties, presentation to Armenian population how to plan a vacation.

This year’s exhibition, in general, will involve more than 75 companies, 58 of which represent regions of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, Turkey, Georgia, Greece, Egypt, Argentina and the United Arab Emirates.
