YEREVAN. – Following a two-day silence, American currency transactions were finally conducted Thursday at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock.

The dollar’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 409.51/$1 at the stock exchange, and thus the US national currency lost some ground against the Armenian national money.

Thursday’s sales totaled $6.8 million at the stock exchange.

The buying exchange rate of the US dollar primarily dropped below AMD 408/$1, at the cash foreign currency market of Armenia, and its selling rate is at AMD 410-411/$1 on Thursday.
