YEREVAN.- Head of Marxist party said he respects Raffi Hovannisian for being a true patriot but he doubts that head of Heritage party will be able to change the regime in Armenia.

Davit Hakobyan said he dislikes both ideology of Serzh Sargsyan and Raffi Hovannisian, as they lack concrete political and economic program.

“They will not be able to change situation in the country, until they have a fundamentally new government machine,” he told reporters on Tuesday.

Hakobyan labeled as “nonsense” MP Nikol Pashinyan’s proposal to create a shadow government.

“It is nonsense. They must have an action plan, economic and political program as well as ideology before forming a shadow government,” he added.  

As to the ruling regime, Hakobyan is confident they would be unable to rule the country as they used to do it, unless they get new professional staff.
