YEREVAN.- Former presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian plans to hold another “decisive” rally in Liberty Square on Sunday.

The rally will be preceded by the festive demonstration to mark International Women’s Day on March 8.

Hovannisian announced his wife Armenuhi Hovannisian’s speech during the March 8 demonstration.

In his speech, head of Heritage party underscored importance of the May 5 elections to Yerevan’s Council of Elders.

“People will seize power in Yerevan and will turn it into a popular capital,” he said, recalling about the April 9 mass action.

Earlier opposition announced the demonstration to be held on April 9, the day of inauguration of president.
