YEREVAN.- Leader of Heritage party received his votes due to his active work and attracting majority of so-called protest votes, political analyst Stepan Grigoryan said.

However, the analyst noted that preserving the votes is a very tough task.

“Today it is assumed that Raffi Hovannisian’s votes do not belong to him. This is not true. However, we must acknowledge that he does not have a specific program, although he and his colleagues are engaged in political activity. Besides, another positive side of Raffi Hovannisian is that he is open to political dialogue and discussions. He is offering cooperation, despite the fact that he would not abandon his principles,” Grigoryan said.

“I have no doubt that the second meeting between Serzh Sargsyan and Raffi Hovannisian will take place, and this is primarily due to the character of the two politicians,” he concluded.
