YEREVAN. – Following when African Plague was recorded among pigs in the territory of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, in accordance with the demand of the respective text by Armenia’s Agriculture Minister and with a decision by the governor of Armenia’s Syunik Region, temporary control points are posted in the Tegh and Syunik villages of the Region, to set up a necessary control with the intention of preventing this disease from penetrating into Syunik Region and Armenia, Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun daily reports.  

“According to official information, as of yesterday [Friday], no cases of pigs in Armenia dying from the African Plague are recorded,” Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun writes.
