YEREVAN. – All of Armenia’s interstate highways and inter-village roads are primarily drivable, as of Saturday at 10am, but there is black ice on some road sections.

But the Selim Mountain Pass and the Sotk-Karvachar (NKR) and Berd-Chambarak (Tavush Region) Highways are closed for traffic, the Ministry of Emergency Situations press service informs.  

And according to the information received from Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department, the Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway—which leads to the Armenian border—is open solely for vehicles with chained wheels and which seat up to thirty passengers.

Snow removal and road cleaning are in progress.
