YEREVAN. – The governance of Armenia’s domain of education and science could be entrusted to another ruling Republican Party (RPA) member, Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun daily reports.

“[President and RPA leader] Serzh Sargsyan could send Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan as ambassador to any European country. According to the rumors, these days Serzh Sargsyan is discussing the matter of appointing Armen Ashotyan as Armenia’s Ambassador to France.

Note that Armen Ashotyan petitioned to Serzh Sargsyan, three times in the last five years, asking him to appoint him ambassador to any country, even including the CIS expanse. [But] Serzh Sargsyan turned Armen Ashotyan down every time,” Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun writes.
