YEREVAN.- ARF Dashnaktsutyun did everything to follow the path of consolidated political struggle during the upcoming elections to the capital city Yerevan Council.
The party thought upcoming elections can become a stage which will open up opportunity to unite the opposition, head of ARFD parliamentary faction Aghvan Vardanyan told reporters on Tuesday.
He said ARFD had discussions with Heritage and Prosperous Armenia, but difference in approaches hampered creating of joint proportional list.
“We have done everything for the political forces to reach agreement. All political forces will separately run in the elections, but this does not mean we will stop cooperation. Favorable conditions for joint work may be created after the elections,” he added.
