“It was adopted by a ratio of 66 in favor, 25 against, and 6 abstentions. In an interview with us, NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov noted that the [Prosperous Armenia Party] PAP NA Faction MPs had voted abstaining to the proposal.

PAP NA Faction MP Vahe Enfiajyan said [as follows] with respect to PAP’s abstaining votes:

‘With our faction, we decided to express our position with this format.’

To the query as to whether abstaining votes imply that PAP will not attend this [inauguration] ceremony, the MP responded:

‘This is a very specific format of voting. We voted in abstaining. Is it not clear what this means?’” 168 Zham writes.
