YEREVAN.- Armenian parliament will discuss creation of ad hoc committee on the March 1 events during the next session, Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan said.

His comment came in response to the question by the head of Armenian National Congress faction Levon Zurabyan.

Armenian Speaker said the co-rapportuer on the issue, head of standing committee on legal affairs Davit Harutyunyan is on a business trip. Therefore, the matter will be discussed during the next four-day session of the parliament.

Last week Armenian parliament’s committee on legal affairs unanimously adopted draft decision on creating an ad hoc committee to study the March 1 events during which 10 people were killed.
