YEREVAN. – The information, according to which the pilots of Armavia Airline Company—which is Armenia’s national carrier—will carry out a strike on Thursday, is inaccurate, Company Press Secretary Nana Avetisova told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
“Everything is in order in the company, there is no strike, [and] all pilots are out working,” Avetisova said, and added that Armavia is operating in accordance with its normal schedule.
To note, an Armenian News-NEWS.am follower had sent a letter to the editorial, and informed that the Armavia Airline Company pilots will not conduct flights as of Thursday and due to not having received their salaries.
“No pilot has received close to six month’s salary,” the reader had written in the letter.
