YEREVAN. – Everyone will see the true face of Armenia’s opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party during the capital city Yerevan Council election, which is slated for May 5, ARF National Assembly Faction Secretary Aghvan Vardanyan stated this during Friday’s parliamentary briefing.
Vardanyan noted that ARF likewise has shortcoming, but it has neither praised itself nor permitted itself to speak badly about anyone.
As per the ARF MP, they believe in their victory come May 5, and they will run in the Yerevan election with a very skilled team.
“A task is set forth, during the election, to prove that the percentages [of the votes], which were attributed to us in the parliamentary election, did not correspond to reality,” Aghvan Vardanyan noted.
He also did not rule out the possibility that, following the Yerevan election, a format could be created toward cooperation among the opposition forces in the Council of Elders.
