YEREVAN.- Elections to Yerevan council are competitive because of the programs of participating parties, secretary of Orinats Yerkir faction Mher Shahgeldyan said.

“Orinats Yerkir is ready for struggle,” he assured. In his turn, other member of the party Hovhannes Margaryan assured reporters they are running for Yerevan council with a good team.

Asked whether the coalition agreement with Republican Party of Armenia will be an obstacle for the party, Shahgeldyan admitted they pledged support to Serzh Sargsyan.

“But, that’s all. Struggle between the parties is another thing. We do not have psychological barriers in this regard,” he added.
