YEREVAN.- Armenian News - NEWS.am learnt the name of man who had penetrated into the National Assembly and got a gunshot wound.

The man was taken to University hospital of Yerevan. Chief physician of the hospital, Karen Sahakyan told Armenian News - NEWS.am that 25-year-old Vrezh Galstyan, a resident of Masis town, was hospitalized.  

He said the patient is undergoing an examination. He received a perforating wound to the upper thigh. Experts will decide on their further actions after the examination is over.

As reported earlier, a man got a gunshot wound as he tried to bring in a knife into the building of Armenia’s National Assembly.
