YEREVAN.- Writer Meruzhan Ter-Gulanyan believes ex-candidate Raffi Hovannisian’s offer is not a serious one.

Talking to reporters on Saturday, he hailed the recent press conference of President Serzh Sargsyan. It is very important for president to speak sincerely, he added.

The writer is confident one should not speculate on the name of people.

“Presidential elections are over. Raffi Hovannisian is better to stop the hunger strike, go home and deal with real politics,” Ter-Gulanyan said, assuring that he would visit Hovannisian in Liberty Square.

According to the writer, Armenian intellectuals beware of participating in the political process, being afraid of making different statements and misunderstanding.
