YEREVAN.- Armenia’s Defense Ministry dismissed Azerbaijani media reports on growing tension on the border registered over the last 24 hours, including a death and injury of a serviceman.
“The situation is not more tense than ever. Press reports are untrue. Armenian side respects ceasefire regime,” spokesperson for Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan told Armenian News - NEWS.am.
Since Tuesday evening Azerbaijani mass media has been spreading reports about “tension on the border,” the death of one soldier and an injury of another. It is noteworthy that the direction in which Azerbaijani soldier was allegedly killed is not reported.
