YEREVAN.- Another 90 new buses were imported by private companies within the framework of new program of reforms in Armenian capital’s public transport.
Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan got familiarized with a new batch of buses imported by private companies. The program of reforms suggests reducing the number of minibuses and their replacement with midibuses.
Since 2012 Yerevan has imported 350 buses, 90 of which were brought by private companies in the first quarter of 2013.
Margaryan thanked private companies for their assistance to transport reforms. Around 760 buses will work in the capital by the end of this year, he said.
