MOSCOW. – The Russian MFA refuted the information with respect to Russian FM Sergei Lavrov visiting the Azerbaijani capital, Baku.

Inaccurate information has appeared in several media, according to which Lavrov allegedly will be on hand at the world forum of the MGIMO (Moscow State Institute of International Relations) graduates to be held in Baku, from April 11 to 13, the Russian MFA Facebook account informs.      

“In this connection, we would like to inform that during that time the minister’s schedule envisions a meeting in London, in the Foreign Ministers Council of the G8 countries, and a visit to Geneva to meet with the leadership of international organizations,” the Russian MFA statement reads.
