YEREVAN. – Opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) party spokesperson Arman Musinyan informed that ANC already has chosen its slogan with which the party will run in the capital city Yerevan Council election, which is slated for May 5, Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun daily reports.

“In the elections, the Congress’ slogan will be: ‘Power to the citizen.’ Hence, the political forces will run with the following slogans in the Yerevan Council election: ANC: ‘Power to the citizen;’ PAP [that is, Prosperous Armenia Party]: ‘Let’s start from Yerevan!’, ‘We will change [it];’ [opposition] ARF [Dashnaktsutyun Party]: ‘Yerevan, change Armenia!;’ [opposition] Heritage [Party]: ‘Barev [Hello] Yerevan!;’ [and the coalition government’s senior member, Republican Party] RPA: ‘A better Yerevan.’

[But the coalition government’s junior partner, Orinats Yerkir (Rule of Law) Party] RLP is still thinking about its slogan,” Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun writes.
