YEREVAN. – Following a two-day stability in the exchange rate of the American dollar, the latter gained considerable value yet again at the financial market of Armenia.   

The American national currency’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 418.48/$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Thursday; this is a 0.17-percent—or an AMD 0.73—rise from the previous trading session on Wednesday and, also, a considerable fluctuation for the country’s financial market.   

Thursday’s sales totaled $5.6 million at the stock exchange.

At the cash foreign currency market of Armenia, the US dollar’s buying and selling exchange rates fluctuate at the AMD 417-420/$1 range, respectively, but its buying exchange rate has risen all the way to AMD 417.5/$1 at some exchange offices.
