YEREVAN.- President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received the head of Russian oil corporation Rosneft Igor Sechin.

They discussed cooperation prospects in the field of economy, including energy sector, president’s press service told Armenian News-NEWS.am. The sides underscored importance of economic cooperation on strengthening and deepening of relations between strategic allies.

President Sargsyan expressed confidence that Rosneft’s entering the Armenian market creates an important momentum for development of economic cooperation.

The rumors about prospects of Rosneft’s entering the Armenian market appeared half a year ago.
