Russian Embassy in Baku filed a note of protest to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry in connection with Russian journalist's detention at the Heydar Aliyev airport, Azerbaijani media reported, quoting diplomatic sources.
Reporter of Nezavisimaya Gazeta Milrad Fatullayev was detained at the Baku airport on the night of March 31/April 1 and was later deported from the country.
