YEREVAN. – The Armenian Government-Affiliated General Department of Civil Aviation (GDCA) denied the reports by Turkish sources, according to which the direct flights between Armenian capital city Yerevan and Istanbul, Turkey, may be suspended.

The information does not correspond to reality; the flight is conducted according to schedule, GDCA Press Secretary Nelly Cherchinyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am

To note, information was disseminated, with respect to a possible suspension of the Yerevan-Istanbul flights, following Turkey’s decision to cancel indefinitely—and without even having started—the direct flights between Yerevan and Van, Turkey.
