YEREVAN. – Armenian and foreign senior officials, MPs, ministers, regional governors, men and women of the art and letters, and other well-known personalities are arriving in capital city Yerevan’s Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex on Tuesday, to attend the National Assembly special session devoted to the swearing-in ceremony of President Serzh Sargsyan.  

Numerous Prosperous Armenia Party members—who noted that the party has not made a decision on whether or not attending the event, and they are attending on their own decision—likewise are present at the special session.   

Former Yerevan Mayor, ArmRusGazprom Company former director Karen Karapetyan likewise has arrived to attend Sargsyan’s inauguration. But he denied the media information that he is holding talks with Armenia’s political circles, and also with respect to the rumors that he will be appointed PM.
