A huge traffic accident occurred, on Tuesday at around 12:15am, in the Petushinski District of Vladimirskaya Oblast (Region) of Russia. A Mitsubishi Lancer and a Gazelle-model minibus collided, the MFA Facebook page informs.

According to preliminary information of Armenia’s Embassy in Russia, six Armenian citizens were affected as a result of the road crash. According to preliminary data, five of them died on the spot, whereas the other citizen, who sustained serious injuries, was hospitalized.   

Armenia’s Embassy in Russia is in constant contact with the Vladimirskaya regional authorities and continues to verify data on the affected citizens and the details of the road crash.   

At present, the names of three dead Armenian citizens are ascertained; they are Sasunik Sargsyan, Zohrab Avagyan, and Vardan Vardanyan.
