YEREVAN.- Acting Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian received on Tuesday special envoy of the Syrian President, Ambassador Adnan Mahmoudi.
He presented recent Syrian developments and efforts to put an end to the armed clashes, foreign ministry’s press service reported.
Edward Nalbandian expressed deep concern about the ongoing crisis in Syria and deterioration of the humanitarian situation, stressing that this is seriously affecting civilian population, including the Syrian Armenians.
Acting FM expressed confidence that the only way to resolve ongoing crisis is to establish a dialogue among all segments of Syrian population. He expressed hope that in the near future it will be possible to find a way out of this situation to establish peace and stability in the country.
