YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Acting Diaspora Minister, Hranush Hakobyan, hosted World Armenian Congress Chairman Ara Abrahamyan, who had arrived in capital city Yerevan to attend Tuesday’s inauguration of the President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, the Diaspora Ministry pres service informs.   

Abrahamyan noted that, in cooperation with the Ministry of Diaspora, the activities being conducted with the Armenian diaspora have become more productive.   

In her turn, Hakobyan presented the activities her ministry has carried out to provide assistance to the Syrian Armenians that have moved to Armenia.   

In this context, the interlocutors discussed the housing issues of these Syrian Armenians.
