STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, President Bako Sahakyan was on hand Friday at the military exercises, with the involvement of several NKR Defense Army’s subdivisions, that were conducted in the eastern part of the country.

The President stressed the importance of such activities, noting that they contribute to the maintenance of the high-level combat-readiness of Artsakh’s armed forces, Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President informed.

Also, President Sahakyan presented valuable gifts to a group of servicemen that successfully performed their tasks during the drills.

A Republic of Armenia Defense Ministry delegation, led by acting Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, likewise monitored the military exercises.
