YEREVAN. – The American national currency’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 417/$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Saturday.

To note, the stock exchange saw no trading on Thursday and Friday, and therefore the aforesaid exchange rate is a 0.24-percent—or an AMD 1—drop from the previous trading session on Wednesday.   

Saturday’s sales totaled $2.54 million at the stock exchange.

The US dollar lost value at the cash foreign currency market of Armenia, too. The country’s exchange offices have dropped its buying exchange rate all the way to AMD 415-416/$1, and it is sold even at AMD 417.5/$1.
