YEREVAN.- The Armenia-Turkey normalization process presented Ankara to the international community as an unserious partner, Ruben Melkonyan said.
“Despite this, Turkish officials, including Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, are periodically making ridiculous statements, indicating their willingness to normalize Armenian-Turkish relations. But in fact, all Turkey’s steps are destructive and brought the relationship to a deadlock,” expert in Turkic studies noted.
As for the Karabakh issue, Turkey’s policy has not undergone any changes, too
“By its moves, Turkish side to a large extent is hindering the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict. So we can confidently say that the real obstacle to resolving the Karabakh dispute today is the Turkish-Azerbaijani duo,” he concluded.
