YEREVAN. – All businesses, which belong to Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan, are undergoing thorough inspections these days, Zhoghovurd daily reports.

“The State Revenue Committee [SRC] launched extensive inspections at Ararat Cement Factory, the brandy factory, Kotayk Beer Factory, and at other enterprises that belong to Tsarukyan.

According to Zhoghovurd’s sources, SRC is conducting inspections, by way of monitoring, even at the store belonging to Tsarukyan’s daughter.

Apparently, [SRC Chairman] Gagik Khachatryan is doing this within the framework of the political instruction he was given, to constrain the PAP in the pre-[capital city Yerevan Council] election season,” Zhoghovurd writes.
