YEREVAN. – The American national currency’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 415.5/$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Friday.

As a result, and after a one-week stability, the dollar lost substantial value on Friday. The aforesaid exchange rate is a 0.36-percent—or an AMD 1.5—drop from the previous trading session.   

Friday’s sales totaled $700,000 at the stock exchange.

At the cash foreign currency market of Armenia, the US dollar’s buying exchange rate fell all the way to AMD 414/$1 and that of selling, to AMD 416/$1.
