MOSCOW. – There is progress in the discussion of the opportunities for cooperation among, Armenia, the Customs Union, and the Single Economic Space. Russian Federation (RF) Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated this on Thursday, following his talk in Moscow with Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian.
“We positively assess the activities of the Armenian-Russian joint commission that is set up for this objective,” Lavrov said, RIA Novosti News Agency of Russia reports.
The RF FM also expressed a hope that the memorandum, which was signed on April 10 between the Government of Armenia and the Eurasian Economic Commission, will register progress in bringing Armenia and the Customs Union closer.
