Council of Foreign Ministers of the European Union extended the terms of office of its special representatives in several regions from March 1 to August 31, 2010.

In particular, double mandate of Pierre Morel EU Special Representative for the Crisis in Georgia, as well as Peter Semneby — EU Special Representative for South Caucasus and Central Asia and Kalman Mizsei — EU special Representative in Moldavia were reappointed.

Mandate of the EU special representative is renewed every six months.
