YEREVAN. – The Court of Cassation of Armenia will commence on May 8 the examination of the objections submitted by the attorneys of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) activists. 

Armenian Judicial Department’s International Cooperation and Public Relations Service Chief Arsen Babayan told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

The Court of Appeal processed the complaints filed by sentenced ANC activists Tigran Arakelyan, Artak Karapetyan, Sargis Gevorgyan, and Davit Kiramijyan.  

To note, a general jurisdiction court had sentenced Arakelyan, Karapetyan, and Gevorgyan and Kiramijyan to six, three, and two years, respectively.
