YEREVAN. – As of 5pm, the Office of Armenia’s Human Rights Defender received around ten reports with respect to irregularities during Sunday’s capital city Yerevan Council of Elders election.

Ombudsman Karen Andreasyan’s spokeswoman Naira Karmirsharyan told the abovementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In her words, this time the reports are quite less as compared to those that were received during the previous elections.

“The primary reports are with respect to the obstruction of the activities of the [election] observers, lineups [at the precincts], and, early in the morning, the fading of the ink [on the passports],” Karmirsharyan said.
