YEREVAN. – American currency trading was not conducted at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Monday.

The offer for the dollar was at an exchange rate of AMD 415.8/$1, but the demand rate did not exceed AMD 415.5/$1. In the past week, the US currency’s stock exchange rate had increased and virtually reached AMD 416/$1.

At the cash foreign currency market of Armenia, the US dollar lost value by close to AMD 0.50 as compared to the weekend. Its buying exchange rate dropped all the way to AMD 414/$1 in most exchange offices, and its selling exchange rate is primarily at AMD 417-418/$1.
