YEREVAN. – Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan’s spokeswoman, Iveta Tonoyan, issued a message and reflected on Tsarukyan’s statement that, “PAP cannot become an opposition.”

“Tsarukyan’s statement on PAP’s political status has caused different interpretations. To put an end to all types of misunderstandings and bizarre comments, I formally inform that, in the coming days, the PAP leader personally will give complete answers to all the questions,” Tonoyan specifically stated.     

To note, the Prosperous Armenia Party chairman had said his party cannot become an opposition. Furthermore, he had noted that if the PAP were to enter the coalition government, it would have done that after the capital city Yerevan Council of Elders election that was conducted on May 5.
