YEREVAN. – Participants of a protest action against gas price rise have approached the Public Services Regulatory Commission.

They met with Commission’s head of staff Mikael Soghomonyan. According to him, the application of ArmRusgasprom will be considered in 90 days. No decision has been made so far, he added.

The protestors also met with chairman of the Commission Robert Nazaryan who said the price will be determined as a result of discussions. The Russian side increased the price on the border from $180 to $270 per 1,000 cubic meters, he said explaining the reason for ArmRusgasprom’s decision.

Members of Heritage and ARF Dashnaktsutyun parties joined the protestors who will march to the presidential residence.
