YEREVAN. - The newly formed government of Armenia will present the new action plan to the National Assembly (parliament) for approval, announced the government rep. at a cabinet meeting on May 16.

According to the official website of the government, the program includes program provisions of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia and the “Rule of Law” Party, as well as proposals of the other political powers represented in the national parliament.

According to the program, in 2013-2017, the Government of Armenia plans:

- To ensure economic growth and growth of GDP on the level of 5-7%;

- To provide growth of exports;

- To double the minimum wage;

- To ensure the increase of the total fertility rate by 1.8;

- To provide at least 90% of children of 5-6 years old with available pre-school education;

- To ensure the reduction of poverty by 8-10 percentage points;

- To create over 100 thousand jobs, while the number of jobs in non-agricultural sector must increase by 30-50 thousand.
