The Armenians in Armenia are less interested in the ethnographic tourism of Crimea, Ukraine, Aram Grigoryan, who heads a tourism agency, told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“Our agency operates in Crimea and propagates Armenian ethnographic tourism,” Grigoryan noted. His agency organizes tours and brings exposure to the Armenian heritage of Crimea.  

“We have much more applications from abroad. Our compatriots from Armenia are less interested for a variety reasons; primarily [because of] not being informed,” Grigoryan stated.

To note, around 20,000 Armenians live in Crimea and several Armenian organizations function there. Armenians live in Crimea for the past several centuries.
