YEREVAN. – Armenian National Assembly (NA) Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan on Wednesday received Norwegian Ambassador Knut Hauge, who is ending his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

The Parliament leader thanked the ambassador for his contribution to Armenian-Norwegian relations and wished him success in his future work, the NA press service informs. 

Pointing to the active Armenian-Norwegian relations, Abrahamyan underscored the need to deepen interparliamentary ties and the interaction within international organizations. He also highlighted the development of trade and economic relations with Norway.    

In his turn, Ambassador Hauge gave a high assessment to the present-day level of bilateral ties and draw attention to the development of interparliamentary relations. He expressed a conviction that there is great potential for cooperation in the economic sector, too.
