YEREVAN. – Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan will attend the regular session of the Council of Defense Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries.

The Defense Minister’s press secretary, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.    

The session will convene on June 5 in Minsk, Belarus.

To note, the discussants will examine over twenty matters concerning the improvement of the CIS cooperation system and the development of military relations within CIS. The agenda topics specifically include the reaching of an agreement on the CIS armed forces’ joint activities for 2014.
