YEREVAN. – The Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia will adopt, during its Friday’s session, the decision on reviewing the prices of natural gas and electricity being supplied to consumers.

According to the commission’s official website, the gas price will be set at 156 drams (approx. $0.37)—instead of today’s 132 drams (approx. $0.32)—per cubic meter for those that consume up to 10,000 cubic meters, and $276.98 per 1,000 cubic meters for those that consume more than 10,000 cubic meters. The current gas price is $243.13 for large consumers.

In addition, the “Electric Networks of Armenia” Company will supply electricity to the country’s consumers at a price of 38 drams (approx. $0.09) per kilowatt and, in the night hours, for 28 drams (approx. $0.07) per kilowatt. As a result, the electricity prices will increase by 8 drams (approx. $0.02) per kilowatt.  

In line with the program, these price changes will come into force in July.
